In today’s world, AI and machine translation are part of the process - there's no escaping this fact. I use them strategically to enhance productivity: I work with a paid API for a machine translation engine, ensuring confidentiality for all client texts. While machine translations can speed up the process, they often lack the fluency and consistency required for professional results. That’s where my expertise comes in.
I use Trados Studio 2024 and MemoQ 11 to guarantee consistency in tone, fluency, and terminology across your project. Additionally, I am experienced with online translation tools such as XTM, Phrase/MemSource, MateCat, Transifex, and Smartling, making me adaptable to your preferred workflows and platforms. When necessary, I create a dedicated Terminology Database to ensure specialized jargon is translated uniformly throughout the text.
After completing the translation, I set it aside before carefully proofreading it again. This fresh perspective allows me to fine-tune the text and deliver a polished final product that meets the highest standards.
