With over two decades of experience as a freelance translator, I specialize in delivering high-quality translations from English, German, and Portuguese into Dutch. My expertise spans a wide array of subject matters, including legal, commercial, technical, and medical content.

Industry-Specific Expertise

• FMCG: translation of internal instructions and creative content for products for a North American snacking company, a world leader in its field.
• Automotive: creative translations for a well-known Swedish car brand, Nissan’s luxury vehicle division, and documentation for a British automotive company specializing in lightweight sports and racing cars. I’ve also translated for two major French car brands and a French official F1 team. Additionally, I’ve worked on creative translations for an Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer established in 1914 in Bologna.
• Cosmetics & Beauty, Personal Care & Hygiene: creative translations of product texts, brochures, training materials, and e-learning content for beauty experts for a prominent German company.
• Foods & Refreshments: translation of product and packaging texts for a meat substitute product originating in the UK and sold primarily in Europe.
• Ingredient Labels & Product Descriptions: translations for a UK-based meat substitute product and labels for canned fish meals for a Portuguese market leader in this sector.
• E-commerce: transcreation and translation of product texts for a global website, including the company’s recently launched Dutch domain.
• E-learning: creative translations of training and e-learning materials for beauty experts, a major German logistics company, and one of the largest roof tile manufacturers in the world.
• Consumer Electronics: translation of manuals, quick start guides, web content, brochures, help files, and presentations for consumer electronics, including products such as vacuum robots, air fresheners, dehumidifiers, microwaves, ovens, electric scooters, and robotic mowers.

Additional Services

Subtitling
In 2014, I expanded my skill set by completing a subtitling course. Since then, I’ve translated and subtitled numerous well-known TV series, including a Brazilian telenovela. On a monthly basis, I subtitle an episode of Venlo Vertelt, a popular local program for regional broadcaster Omroep Venlo. In addition, last year I had the privilege of providing Dutch subtitles for a 5-series documentary in Limburgian dialect, which varies from town to town, for the provincial news station L1.

Desktop Publishing (DTP)
I also offer desktop publishing (DTP) support using InDesign CC. If your translation requires precise formatting, I can assist with professional layout services to match your specifications.
